Pruning Specifications

Hendrickson Tree Care is all about safety and knowledge.  We practice this via our team safety meetings, certification and on the job training.  For the protection of all involved we do the following:

  1. We carry general Liability Insurance of $1,000,000.00 per incident for the protection of our customers.

  2. We carry Workers' Compensation Insurance for the protection of our crew.

  3. All work is performed by trained arborists who are certified or are directly supervised by an arborist who is certified through an accepted Pruning Specificationsorganization such as the International Society of Arboriculture or the Kansas Arborist Association.

  4. Live trees are not ascended with spurs.

  5. Pruning equipment is sterilized after working with diseased trees.

  6. All equipment used and all work performed must be in full compliance with the most current revision of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI Z133) Standard for tree care operations.

  7. HTC is solely responsible for pedestrian and vehicular safety control within the worksite. HTC provides the necessary warning devices, barricades and ground personnel required to ensure the safety, protection and warning of pedestrian and vehicular traffic within the area.

  8. Any damage to trees or property caused by HTC will be repaired immediately at no additional expense and to the satisfaction of the owners.

  9. All debris from tree trimming, tree removal and stump operations will be cleaned up each day before the work crew leaves the site, unless otherwise coordinated by the owner and crew leader. All lawn areas shall be raked, all streets and sidewalks swept and all brush, branches and logs removed from the site.

  10. HTC will, at our expense procure all necessary licenses and permits needed to conduct the work as required.

  11. Any subcontractors shall be bound by the conditions of these specifications.
